Summary

This standard, together with DIN EN ISO 15004-1 and DIN EN ISO 15004-2, specifies requirements and test methods for fundus cameras operating for observing, photographing or recording electronic images of the fundus of the human eye in order to provide the image information for diagnosis. It is not applicable to instruments that contact the eye during the examination and to those using scanning laser sources.

Notes

DIN EN ISO 10940 (1998-06) remains valid alongside this standard until 2011-12-31.
