Summary
The document describes a chemical-biological method for the determination of the biodegradability of organic compounds by anaerobic microorganisms in digested sludge of a waste-water treatment plant. A digested sludge sample will be incubated in a gastight test vessel and the gas production will be measured. By comparing the anorganic carbon with the microbiological produced carbon the percentage biodegradation is calculated.
