Summary

The standard specifies requirements and test methods for spectacle frames. The revision aims at revising all the stiplulations related to nickel release (subclause 4.2.3 is being revised, current subclause 8.8 is being deleted). The revised stipulations make reference to the new edition of ISO/TS 24348 and the new edition of EN 16128, respectively, the latter being the relevant standard for the European Community.
