This document applies to qualification test of brazers engaged in manual brazing of parts and brazing operators in aerospace construction. It is an essential precondition for the qualification for brazing in new production and repair work in aerospace.The application of this document will ensure that such a qualification test is carried out in accordance with a standard test specification on standard test pieces under standard conditions. A brazer/brazing operator qualification test properly passed in accordance with the terms of this standard ensures that the brazer/brazing operator concerned has proved that he possesses at least the minimum degree of manual skills and technical knowledge demanded by the state of the art.
