Summary
This standard applies to manoeuvring tests/trials at surface ships, submarines and models. The definitions, symbols, and test conditions specified in this standard constitute the fundamentals which are to be employed for the description and determination of certain ship manoeuvring characteristics together with the respective test-specific physical quantities contained in DIN ISO 13643-2 to DIN ISO 13643-6.
