ICAO ANNEX 9995:2013/Cor 1:2013

This manual is intended to provide guidance to Civil Aviation Authorities, operators and approved training organizations in the implementation of evidence-based training (EBT) methodology. The EBT programme and philosophy are intended as a means of assessing and training key areas of flight crew performance in a recurrent training system. EBT is optional. When choosing to implement EBT in their regulatory framework, States shall ensure that operators and training organizations apply the principles of Doc 9995 when developing and implementing such recurrent training programmes.
