These requirements include management protocols of Self-organization, self-configuration, self-recovery and self-discovery between multiple edge computing nodes. The autonomic management features for edge computing node shall cover discovery, node identification, negotiation, transport, messaging and security mechanisms.
The purpose of this standard is to introduce autonomic management of edge computing nodes. This standard provides reference for edge computing node, intelligent gateway as well as edge computing software such as programming Integrated Development Environments (IDE).
