This standard provides implementation references of machine learning upon lower-powered and cheaper embedded devices, a specific hardware-based method of accepting the introduced machine learning models, and then the online optimization comparing the models with incoming live data.

This standard specifies the collaboration protocols of enabling machine learning on the edge computing node with support from industrial clouds. This standard provides implementation reference of machine learning upon lower powered, cheaper, embedded devices, a specific hardware-based method of accepting the introduced machine learning models and then online optimization, i.e. comparing the models with incoming live data.
The purpose of this standard is to define cloud-edge collaboration mode for applying machine learning on the edge computing node, and provide interoperability between different processor manufacturers. This standard provides reference for edge computing node, intelligent gateway as well as edge computing software such as programming Integrated Development Environments (IDE).
