This proposed standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification basic parameters, test rating requirements, marking, packaging and storage of centrifugal refrigerant compressor. The standard is applicable to centrifugal refrigerant compressors for air-conditioning and heat pump purposes. Centrifugal refrigerant compressors for other purposes are implemented by reference.
