Summary

This standard applies to laminated shim (metal foils bonded together) made of aluminium and wrought aluminium alloys in total thicknesses of 0,4 to 3,2 mm. Peeling off one or more metal foils permits to reduce the total thickness of the laminated shim and thus to adapt it to the intended use.
