Procedure for Measuring the Kinematic Viscosity at 100 degrees C of Used Oil Samples
Summary
Used oils are mechanically pre-treated using a paint shaker before measuring the kinematic viscosity in a 200 Cannon Fenske Reverse Flow Tube.
This method permits the evaluation of the kinematic viscosity at 100 degrees C of soot containing used engine oils, and is especially applicable to the measurement of samples operated in engine tests run in accordance with CEC L-56-T-95
