The standard contains descriptions of linear and nonlinear vibration systems and the impact and components with frequency-dependent properties. It presents a plurality of drive train components. For the user, the torsional vibration calculations with calculation of modeling, put up and solve of the movement equations as well as assess the results are presented. Finally, the standard presents torsional vibration measurements, non-linearities, parameter excitations and special aspects of torque oscillations in drive trains, reducing torsional vibrations and the generation of torsional vibrations.
