The guideline serves to recognize evaluation of results of measurement around the presence of non-linear characteristics of a vibration-capable system. It should be ruled out the suggestion as a possible cause unexplained phenomena, and in some cases, a known means for identifying the cause of the nonlinearity, for example, offer the presence of cracks or game. Other causes of vibration-capable systems studied non-linear properties can for example be due to manufacturing defects, discontinuities in materials, wear and breakage, influences caused by overload, non-linear characteristics of bearing elements.
