This guideline covers plants for the production of cements with the focus on the standard process technology implemented in the Federal Republic of Germany. The following unit processes are dealt with: Preliminary homogenization and transport of raw materials; raw material comminution; raw material grinding and raw meal homogenization; clinker burning in rotary kilns; clinker cooling and storage; cement grinding.
