VDI 2095 Blatt 3:2017-06

The standard gives instructions to reduce emissions for installations for the treatment of mixed waste from the household collection of recyclable (lightweight packaging and the same material non-packaging, glass, paper and cardboard packing) and of mixed commercial waste. The standard applies to facilities, which sort, handle and store intermediately the above mentioned waste. For the purpose of this standard the whole process of treatment involves the delivery and storage of the waste, the preparation, including crushing, classification and sorting, and the conveyance and storage of the materials produced and the necessary transports.
