The Document is applicable for secondary copper smelting and refining plants in which electrolytic copper and other products are manufactured from copper-containing secondary raw materials and from raw copper. It does not apply to plants in which copper cathodes are melted and processed further to produce semifinished products, nor to plants in which copper alloys are manufactured.
