Summary
The guideline is applicable for explosion protection measures for fluidized bed spray granulators, fluidized bed dryers and fluidized bed coating installations. Subsequently they will be called fluidized bed installations which may generate flammable dust/air mixtures, vapour/air mixtures or hybrid mixtures when operated as specified. Exempt from this guideline are fluidized bed combustors as per TRD 415.
