VDI 2442:2013-03

The guideline draft revisions VDI 2442 comprises specific information on design, construction and operation of waste gas cleaning plants using thermal combustion. To these belong plants with a nearly adiabatic zone of reaction (e.g. combustion chambers with ceramic lining) and with a non adiabatic zone of reaction (e.g. flares, steam boilers). The operating conditions, example systems and system design data presented in this guideline cannot be directly transferred to solid and liquid waste treatment systems.
