The subject of this document is the reduction of emissions from presses applying the gravure and flexographic printing process on printing stock in the form of sheets or webs of paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, corrugated cardboards and composite materials made out of these. Drying is carried out with hot air/warm air or UV radiation. It contains a description of the various stages in the printing process, the components of the printing plant and the materials used. It desribes their interaction and their effects on conditions during printing and on printing results, as well as the formation of emissions and emission avoidance.
