The standard describes the state of the art of pulp drying plants in sugar factories. The scope extends from the beginning of the extraction to the end of the pulp drying. The VDI Draft Standard Revision contains only such amendments as have been made to the currently valid standard VDI 2594:2006-06 and not its complete text. This draft standard revision is only valid in conjunction with the standard VDI 2594:2006-06.
