The guideline describes aspects and rules to be considered in supplying a automated guided vehicle systems (AGVS). This includes the most important technical aspects which shall be taken into account as early as the order is placed to allow an acceptance without any problems. This guideline may therefore be used as instructions for the execution of the acceptance procedure. The aim of acceptance is to verify that the contracts (for supplies and services as concluded) between purchaser and supplier have been complied with free from defects and observing legal regulations. The guideline contents proposals for diverse tests and the corresponding acceptance reports and checklists (cycle-times, speed, availability, capacity, etc.), and the performance specification represents the binding specification of the scope of supplies and services.
