VDI 2885:2003-12

The document applies to all fields where means of production are planned, purchased, operated, and maintained. It is the basis for the planning and realising of the maintenance processes and, thanks to clear definitions, allows to dermine the maintenance cost both in advance and over the entire life of a means of production. The document is only possible in the case of new plants to be planned, as the data is defined at the offer stage.
