VDI 3357:2014-01

The standard describes the implementation and dimension, materials, assembly and the installation of sliding elements in large stamping dies. It is directed to engineers who are responsible for the construction and use of those tools. The standard allows for a more economic application of sliding elements and for simpler internal logistics by reducing and simplifying the current variation variety. A code determines unambiguously every implementation of a sliding element and makes the order easier. In addition, the standard gives instructions for the installation and for the fixture of sliding elements.
