Shoulder screws, shoulder bushes in stamping and forming dies
Summary
Shoulder screws and shoulder bushes with and without guiding function are used in stamping and forming dies of any dimension from small dies to large dies. They limit the stroke length and are used as retaining elements of moving tool parts like blank holders and pressure pads, strippers, ejectors or float pads. Additionally, they serve as fall-back security elements on failure of the primary retaining system. This standard is applied during construction and production of small to large size stamping and forming dies. It ensures the right design, dimensioning and usage of retaining and security elements.
