Summary

For the purposes of this guideline, maintenance means taking the appropriate measures inorder to preserve, to the greatest possible extent, the properties of water-mixed and non-water-miscible metalworking fluids and of multi-purpose oils during their use in cutting processes. This guideline aims to achieve an optimum service life for the metalworking fluids. This guideline will serve for protecting the health of those working in manufacture.
