The guideline applies to plants and facilities for raw wood treatment and processing as well as for their auxiliary plants. Wood treatment and processing includes non-cutting and machined separation, shaping, glueing, drying as well as treatments for wood preservation and for wood refinement (e.g. thermal and chemical modification, impregnation, hydrophobising, ammonia treatment, etc.).
