Summary

The standard describes and assesses processes which prevent or reduce the emission of fibrous dusts, quotes the emission values achievable with the current state of technology and describes the measuring techniques to be employed. This standard deals with fibrous dusts, which can be released processing products described in the subsequent parts of series of standards VDI 3469. The subsequent parts apply only in conjunction with this standard. This standard does not apply to the processing of materials containing asbestos.
