VDI 3469 Blatt 2:2015-04

The standard concerns the production and processing of fibrous cement products and applies only in conjunction with VDI 3469 Part 1. Dusts can arise during storing of raw materials, preparation of fibres and production of fibrous cement mixtures. Furthermore dusts arise during processing (cutting, boring, punching) of the products in dry condition as well as on the production plant and on the building site. Usually fibrous cement products are supplied to the building site pre-finished, so that only individual cuts for precise fitting are necessary. Suitable dust free or low-dust working devices are suggested for treatment of fibrous cement products on the building site. Moreover waste disposal, demolition and landfilling of fibrous cement products are discussed in detail. Wastes, which cannot be recycled to the production process, are supplied e.g. to cement plants.
