The document deals with the emissions and the impact-related evaluation of odorants emanating from the housing facilities of pigs, cattle, poultry and horses and odour-relevant ancillary facilities. Within the framework of this guideline, only the emissions and immissions (impact/nuisance) phenomena emanating from the livestock housing unit are taken into account. The practice of manure-spreading on agricultural land is not dealt.
