VDI 3476 Blatt 1:2015-06

This standard describes the state of the art in the field of catalytic waste gas cleaning. It serves as the basis for method selection, design, operation and ecological and economic evaluation of facilities and catalysts for catalytic waste gas cleaning. Questions related to the practical application of the methods have been considered with top priority. The standard covers the application of the catalytic waste gas cleaning in stationary plants and processes only. The catalytic waste gas cleaning of flue gases of power plants is described in standard VDI 3927 Part 1. The standards provides the fundamentals for VDI 3476 Part 2 (oxidative processes) and VDI 3476 Part 3 (methods of catalytic waste gas cleaning).
