VDI 3476 Blatt 2:2020-04

This standard deals with the oxidative processes of waste gas cleaning. It contains numerous application examples on the areas of chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry, medical technology, printed circuit board production as well as for the purification of exhaust gases from automotive internal combustion engines. Furthermore, special applications for low pollutant concentrations and odours at low temperatures as well as for catalytic filter media in combustion processes are described. In the standard users and planners will find extensive emission and operating data of executed plants, for which it is proven that the oxidative catalytic waste gas purification technology can be used for emission reduction of the pollutants listed there. This standard applies only in conjunction with VDI 3476 Part 1, which describes the basics for the process selection, the design, the operation of plants and the use of catalysts for the catalytic emission control.
