Summary
The measurement method standardized in this guideline serves for determining PCDDs/PCDFs in ambient air and indoor air. Under the climatic conditions prevailing in central Europe, it is possible to sample air volumes up to 1500 m3. For indoor air measurements, the air flow rate of the sampling apparatus should not exceed 10 % of the volume of the room. The method can also be used for small rooms, for example children's rooms.
