VDI 3674:2013-04

The standard covers the fundamentals of physical and chemical gas-phase adsorption for air pollution control applications, characterises the commercial adsorbents employed and describes some of the deriving adsorption processes from the overall spectrum of applications. Furthermore, the Directive contains examples in which the adsorption was used successfully. Questions of safety technology are discussed, too. Likewise, aspects of operation and maintenance are considered. The disposal of used adsorbents is also discussed.
