This standard is based on VDI 3810 Part 1 and describes the specified normal operation of potable-water installations as per Drinking-water Ordinance, § 3 No 2, items c), d), e), and f) and the prerequisites to be provided by the planner. It supplements the specifications given in VDI/DVGW 6023 with respect to hygienically sound operation.
