VDI 3822 Blatt 2.2.3:2016-01

The standard describes characteristic damage patterns of elastomer products resulting from faulty processing and presents mechanisms of damage in order to allow for a comparison in the individual event of damage. Advice is given to assess damage causes and to find the potential hypotheses and mechanisms of damages. The gained knowledge forms the basis for specific measures for a damage remedy and the avoidance of future damages. Individual cases of damage are considered as well as cases of series of damage occurring on individual products.
