VDI 3840:2004-05 (R2014)

The guideline is concerned with identyfying which kinds of vibration in the shaft lines or rotors of the vaious machine sets should be analysed and what information should be included in the results of analysis. It is not the concern of the guideline to specify how these analyses are to be carried out nor which models or algorithms should be used nor how the results should be presented.
