This guideline describes the possibilities of emission reduction for dry mechanical, physical-chemical, thermal and biological soil treatment plants according to the current state of the art. The explanations are valid for stationary, semimobile and mobile plants.Taking into account current practice in granting permits this guideline also covers, under soil treatment systems, those systems which, in addition to soils, also treat soil-like waste, such as street sweepings or sludge trapping residues, as well as contaminated construction waste and materials of similar consistency, but not systems which are exclusively used for treating waste of this type.
