This standard compiles a list of the necessary measures for preventive maintenance of continuous conveyors. The standard specifies the general basics for maintenance measures in accordance with DIN 31051 by describing the specific procedures for continuous conveyors. The specified criteria for a maintenance planning are to be understood as general references that can be varied depending upon the size of the enterprise, the linkage of the components and the conveyer systems among themselves, the necessary safety regulations and also the size of the maintenance enterprise.
