The standard is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and intended as a guideline for the development of management processes that are oriented to sustainability goals. Important principles are recognition of social responsibility, consideration and balancing the interests of stakeholders, transparency, integral approach and use of the instruments of sustainability management. The overall objective is to develop the economic success of the company in accordance with environmental protection and social justice, to sustain it permanently and to make a positive contribution to society.
