The document informs the user about tools and about the appropriate, feasible, commercially available systems for automated order compilation and provides ideas as to how automated order compilation should best be implemented. The meaning of automated order compilation is to aim at providing support in the decision in favour of automated order complation and for the selection of suitable systems. The validity is restricted to order compilation. Neither automated storage nor conveyance of goods are the subject of the guideline.
