VDI 4442:2007-05

This VDI guideline provides an overview of the system technology available on the market. It also points out various application options, even outside of the clothing industry. This is aimed in particular at supporting building and system planners as well as operators in the selection and dimensioning of overhead conveyor systems and providing them with the relevant data and features of such systems. The guideline begins with a description of the functional principle with typical applications and descriptions of special functions (storage, sorting). This is followed by planning instructions for optimum design.
