VDI 4480 Blatt 4:2002-07

The series of guidelines VDI 4480 Part 1 ff. describes a method for the calculation of the throughput of automatic warehouses. Part 4 applies to warehouse types with rack systems in which multiple loading units (transport units) can be stored behind each other in the rack compartments, referred to here also as warehous channels, (multiple-depth storage). It also applies, in supplementation of the other parts of the guideline VDI 4480, to all other storage systems which allow multiple-depth storage.
