Calculation of emissions related to target energy for energy conversion

Summary

Emissions related to target energy are emissions resulting from conversion of primary energy (energy sources such as coal, natural gas or biomass) to target energy divided by the energy produced during the same time period and under the same operating conditions. The subject of this standard is the conversion of emissions related to fuel energy into emissions related to target energy using efficiency data as well as the allocation of emissions according to the various forms of target energies from cogeneration. New items are the Finnish allocation method and the treatment of CO2 emissions related to target energy in condensation power plants with CO2 sequestration.
