VDI 6012 Blatt 1.1:2014-04 (R2018)

The standard deals with the integration of regenerative and decentralised energy systems in buildings, starting from planning, continuing with operation up to disposal. The standard does not deal with large-scale systems such as coal-fired, nuclear, hydro-electric and geothermal or photoelectric power plants and wind parks. Essential focus is the integration of energy-generating systems into the building, the consideration of the combination with other building services (such as building management). The standard can be applied to residential and non-residential buildings. Special requirements may have to be taken into account for non-residential buildings.
