The guideline describes a method for identification, classification and for the suitability proof of a multiplicity of test processes. The classification of the test processes takes place as a function of the meaning of test characteristics for the product quality as well as the probability of an incorrect test decision. As a function of this risk evaluation different approaches are presented for the proof of the test process suitability. The guideline refers mainly to variable examinations.
