VDI/VDE 2600 Blatt 2:2018-02

This standard describes a procedure for determining the measurement uncertainty of complex test processes. The application of the standard helps to prove the suitability of the test process on the basis of a suitable combination of exact modeling from prior knowledge and from experimental modeling by means of systematic tests. The standard supplements step 4 (determination of measurement uncertainty) from the standard VDI/VDE 2600 Part 1 in the event that no simplified procedures are applicable. However, this standard can also be used independently of VDI/VDE 2600 Part 1 as a system for determining the measurement uncertainty of measuring processes.
