VDI/VDE 2617 Blatt 8:2013-08

The standard descibes a procedure for the verification of the test process suitability of measurements on coordinate measuring machines. The described procedure uses the uncertainty of measurement in comparison the feature tolerance for the verification of the test process suitability. In tables the individual uncertainties and the associated test process suitability are listed and a characteristic for the common test process suitability is determined. The procedure is designed in a way that it is applicable not only for coordinate measuring machines, but can be transferred to other measurement methods. The underlying tables are included in the standard directly applicable in Microsoft Excel as well as sample files on CD-ROM.
