VDI/VDE 2627 Blatt 1:2014-12

The standard defines basics used for the planning, construction and operation of measuring rooms. It supports planners, suppliers and operators of measuring rooms in defining the requirements for a measuring room. In addition to the description of principles and parameters an order system for measuring rooms is recommended to evaluate the performance of existing rooms and to enable a task-oriented planning of new measuring rooms. The standard applies to measuring rooms for any physical dimension, taking additional parameters into account if necessary. Emphasis is placed on the length metrology. Also, the recommended classification applies for rooms of length metrology.
