Torque measuring devices/measuring chains - Minimum requirements in calibrations
Summary
The standard applies generally to torque measuring devices in which the torque is defined by measuring the elastic deformation of a deformation body or a measured variable proportional to the torque. It applies to the gradual (static) and continuous (quasistatic) calibration of torque measuring instruments/measuring chains. Procedures for the calibration of measuring devices, test equipment and for determining the associated measurement uncertainty are presented. The calibration of torque wrench testing equipment is also included. The standard has been updated from the 2006 edition to reflect the current state of the art.
