The standard describes the metrological requirements for energy efficiency in buildings. Incorporated are new insights and diverse publications on thermal comfort and comfort in rooms. Furthermore, a quality classification of temperature sensors for building automation is created that allows a more transparent comparison of temperature sensor systems in applications in buildings with regards to tenders, a better energy balancing of buildings and an optimal temperature sensor installation.
